Frequently Asked Questions About

Commercial Christmas Lights

The lifespan of your Christmas lights depends on the type you choose. Traditional incandescent lights and big box store LED lights typically have a bulb lifespan of around 3,000 hours. In contrast, our commercial-grade LED lights have a lifespan ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 hours.

With proper care, regular maintenance, and safe storage, your commercial Christmas lights can last well over a decade.

Compared to traditional glass incandescent bulbs, LED lights are much safer. Made from durable materials like acrylic, epoxy, and polycarbonate instead of glass, LED bulbs won’t shatter or break, making them easier to store and handle. They also run at much cooler temperatures and consume significantly less energy, which greatly reduces the risk of fires, and electrical shocks, making them safer and more reliable to use.

There’s a surprising variety of white LED bulbs to choose from, each providing a different glow.

Warm white LEDs emit a soft, yellowish glow similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. Their color temperature typically ranges from 2,200 to 3,200 Kelvins, and are a very popular choice among professional decorators.

Cool white LEDs have a slight bluish tint, giving off an icy, wintery appearance. They generally range from 6,000 to 9,000 Kelvins.

Pure white LEDs produce a clean, neutral white light without any yellow or blue tones. The color tempature of these lights range between 5,000 to 6,500 Kelvins.

LED stands for “light emitting diode.” These lights work by passing an electrical current through a microchip, which then illuminates small diodes to produce bright, vivid light. Compared to traditional incandescent bulbs, LED lights generate more illumination while consuming less energy, making them a much more efficient lighting option.
